Getting to where you want to be …
Question: I plan to go abroad but I do not know where to start. Do you know what I should do so I could get where I want/need to be?
I would like to start at the end of your question Sunshine : “… so I could get where I want/need to be“.
I’m choosing to start here because we often forget the ‘basics’, and sometimes the ‘thinking-frameworks’ we choose to use may not fully support the life we want.
Here is my challenge to you Sunshine: What if right now you were EXACTLY where you want/need to be? And what if instead of wanting to be somewhere else, you instead chose to feel grateful for where you are and what you have right now.
Can you imagine Sunshine HOW your life would be if right now you felt you were in the RIGHT place?
A reality is that YOU ARE in the right place right now! You are just not being FULLY PRESENT to where you are. Gratitude allows us to be present to NOW.
I will make this bold statement to you Sunshine: If you’re not happy right now where you are and with what you have – you will NEVER be happy, no matter where you are!
So the challenge I give you right now – for the next 24 hours, is to FEEL grateful for where you are, and what you have.
And this is what will happen once you move your energy focus from being somewhere else, to where you are: Your intuition and feelings will give you information about your next steps in your life.
After the 24 hour’s has passed, then you can ask a question to yourself, such as, “I would like to experience and enjoy life even more – is there a better place than here that I could go to?” But remember to keep feeling grateful for where you are right now. This, in fact, should be the first thing you do EACH and EVERY morning for the rest of your life right after you have awoken!
The power of gratitude will keep you feeling good allowing your natural feelings to flow.
